Extended Grooming Gaps

Important Update: Extended Grooming Gap Fee & Proof of Grooming

It is recommended that dogs who require haircuts be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain their coat’s health and appearance. When dogs only come in a couple of times a year, it can be difficult to groom them properly, especially if they are matted or in poor condition. Therefore, an additional Extended Grooming Gap Fee will apply to dogs that have gone longer than 12 weeks without grooming.

Extended Grooming Gap Fee:

Important: This fee is in addition to any regular de-matting fees, which apply separately if the dog’s coat requires extra work to remove mats.

Proof of Grooming:
If your dog has been groomed elsewhere during this period, please provide proof of their most recent grooming session (such as a receipt or completed appointment confirmation). This is to verify the grooming history and ensure the appropriate fee is applied. Without proof, the additional fee will apply as stated.

Exceptions:
I understand that some dogs can go longer between appointments without issues. If your dog is well-maintained, not matted, and in good condition, the additional fee will not apply. If you’re unsure whether this applies to your dog, feel free to reach out, and I’ll gladly assess their grooming needs.

Thank you for your continued trust and understanding. I look forward to keeping your pups happy, healthy, and looking their best!
